HMJ PIPS Organized Social Culture Week 2017

FITK, UIN News Online – Association of Social Science Education students (HMJ PIPS) FITK UIN Jakarta organized Social Culture Week 2017 at FITK building, campus I of UIN Jakarta (101/11/2017). In addition to strengthen the kinship among PIPS students, this event also aims to hone the interests and talents of the students.

The event itself is filled with a series of activities. Among them are Article Writing workshop, Social Cup competition, Miss IPS contest, Education Seminar and Cultural Parade.

The cairman of the committee, Dini Utami, revealed that this event is followed by all IPS students where each class is required to send a representative to be a contestant of the activity. “This event is held every year in order to increase the competitive spirits of PIPS department,” she said.

She also added that the champions in each competition will be announced when the Cultural Parade is planned to take place on Thursday (26/10/2017). The event itself will be closed with a closing ceremony and a grand reunion of IPS Education student at Student Center Hall of UIN Jakarta, Saturday (10/28/2017).

Separately, PIPS department head Dr. Iwan Purwanto M.Pd appreciate the implementation of this event. He expects this activity will strengthen the PIPS students' kinship as well as facilitate their talent and interests.
