PPG Building Hall 2nd Floor - The Strategic Studies and Action Department of HMPS Education Management 2024 held a Graphic Design Training (TRADEGIS) 2024 event entitled “Developing Digital Creativity: Improving Graphic Design Skills in the Age of Technology”, in the PPG Building Hall, 2nd floor on Friday (27/09/2024). The event was attended by 30 participants from among students.
The opening of the TRADEGIS 2024 activity was guided by Muhammad Aldi Fadli and JIhan Zalika Rachman as Master of Ceremony (MC), followed by remarks from the Chief Executive, Ananda Raja Mandala, and the Chairperson of HMPS Education Management 2024, Muhammad Fahreza. Furthermore, the main event was the presentation of material delivered by Ramadhan Khodarul Hakim, a Creative Designer & Multimedia at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. He presented material on basic graphic design and also trained participants in making posters using the Photoshop application.
Ramadhan explained the basics of graphic design that participants need to understand, such as composition, color, and typography. “Graphic design is not only about creativity, but also about improving skills and understanding global trends in graphic design,” he said.
During the activity, participants were given the opportunity to directly practice their skills using the Photoshop application. They were guided to create attractive and professional posters by applying the graphic design concepts they had learned using a predetermined script. The event was closed by handing over certificates to the speakers and a group photo session for documentation.
Through TRADEGIS 2024 activities, students, especially Education Management students, are expected to increase creativity and digital skills in an effort to improve service quality and work effectiveness in various fields so that students can be better prepared to face challenges in the field of graphic design in an increasingly sophisticated technological era.
