Ciputat, UIN Online News — The Faculty of Da'wa and Communication Studies (FDIKOM) of Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta achieved an international milestone by earning global accreditation from the Accreditation, Certification and Quality Assurance Institute (ACQUIN), a German non-profit organization that evaluates and accredits higher education programs and institutions.

The accredited study programs include Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Da’wa Management, Islamic Guidance and Counseling, and Social Welfare. All four programs successfully met ACQUIN’s rigorous international benchmarks following a comprehensive evaluation process covering curriculum design, academic governance, learning activities, and the participation of the academic community.

This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in FDIKOM’s internationalization journey and boosts the faculty’s strong commitment to delivering globally recognized, high-quality education. The ACQUIN accreditation confirms that FDIKOM’s academic programs successfully meet international standards in education, research, and community engagement.

Dr. Fita Fathurokhmah, M.Si., Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of FDIKOM, expressed her gratitude for this remarkable achievement.

“This achievement is the result of collective hard work from our entire academic community. Our faculty has met global quality standards and serves as a new motivation for us to continue innovating and improving in all aspects of UIN Jakarta's Islamic studies,” she stated.

The ACQUIN accreditation process included a thorough review, with outside experts visiting to check how well we follow quality standards and how our programs meet global academic and job needs.

Through this international recognition, FDIKOM further strengthens UIN Jakarta’s vision of becoming a world-class university. Beyond academic recognition, the ACQUIN accreditation opens wider opportunities for international collaboration, faculty and student exchange, human resource development, and global career pathways for graduates.

This achievement is expected to inspire the entire academic community to maintain quality standards, expand international partnerships, and reaffirm FDIKOM’s position as a leading, inclusive, and globally competitive faculty among modern Islamic universities.
