FST UIN Jakarta Holds Social Event

SC, UIN News Online - Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Jakarta held a blood donor social event. The activity which carried the theme of the Blood Bag for 1000 Life was held on Tuesday (10/09/2018), at the Student Center, Campus I of UIN Jakarta.

The event was the result of the collaboration of the Voluntary Corps (KSR) of PMI UIN Jakarta and the Student Executive Board (DEMA) of the FST, followed by at least 70 donors. In addition, the enthusiasm of students to do donors is quite high, this can be seen from the many queues of students when activity is on going.

One of the donor, Riki, told UIN Online NEWS that before knowing the benefits and usefulness of blood donors for health, he was reluctant to do so. However, after knowing and understanding the benefits of the donor, he routinely donated blood.

"I am very happy with this activity, it is hoped that in the future it will be carried out again and more participants will attend," Riki said.

As information, this blood donor activity is one of a series of events to enliven the Saintek Fair. In addition, there will be regular blood donations and broader collaboration with institutions involved in it. (usa)
