FST, UIN NEWS Online— Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Jakarta held Internet Marketing Training. This event was held because of the cooperation between the Government of South Tangerang City (Tangsel)  and UIN Jakarta in order to realize Smart City. This activity was held on Monday (20/11), held at Theater Room of FST UIN Jakarta.

Not only with UIN Jakarta, South Tangerang City Government also learn from other universities, such as Universitas Indonesia, and Universitas Gajah Madja.

UIN Jakarta Rector Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada MA, in his speech said, UIN Jakarta in this case, as an institution of higher education which has duty of dharma that is, education, research and devotion to society strongly support the aspiration of Tangsel Government make Tangsel as smart city.

"This partnership is a form of tri Dharma implementation by synergizing with the South Tangerang City Government," added Dede.

Secretary General of Ministry of Higher Education and Research Technology (Kemenristekdikti) Ainun Na'im convey, that the challenge of universities in providing education services more and more severe. In addition to being involved in science and science development, universities are also obliged to print graduates who are ready to enter the professional world.

"Thus, the change of status to PTN BH is not for the commercialization of educational services at all. However, this is part of the improvement of public services in the education sector, "he said.

In the same location, Tangsel Vice Mayor Benyamin Davnie said in his presentation, in realizing Tangsel City as Smart City, it needs components such as Smart Economy, Smart Living, Smart People, Smart Environment, Smart Infrastructure and Smart Governance.

"UIN Jakarta as an educational institution that will create changes in community behavior to be better, so as to improve the balance in a sustainable manner. UIN is expected to create highly competitive human resources and able to innovate, "said Benyamin.
