FST-Bakti Kominfo holds digital literacy workshop
Wakatobi, UIN News Online – Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Jakarta, in collaboration with Communication and Information Accessibility Agency of the Communications and Information Ministry's (Bakti Kominfo) holds digital literacy workshop for Wakatobi coastal communities, Wednesday-Friday (12/10-13/2019).
This was said by the Dean of FST UIN Jakarta Lily Surraya Eka Putri to UIN News Online on Friday (12/13/2019). “The training is expected to provide valuable capital for the community in improving their education and digital business,” she said.
The event which presented 26 facilitators from FST UIN Jakarta and BAKTI Kominfo, she continue, aims to provide people an insight about the importance of digital media in increasing their access to education and the economy.
“In this case, about how the Wakatobi community can use digital media platforms in exploring the economic potential of their region. In this training, the FST-BAKTI team introduced an information technology-based digital marketing system,” said Lily.
Furthermore, the team also provides knowledge to the public about how to market their products through digital market places.
The training was attended by 100 participants consisting of came from elementary, junior high, and senior high school teachers and as well as micro, small and medium enterprises entrepreneurs throughout Wakatobi. (usa)
