FSH-RRI ready to broadcast Ramadan program

Jakarta, UIN News Online – Faculty of Sharia and Law (FSH) UIN Jakarta, in collaboration with the Radio of the Republic of Indonesia (RRI) are preparing to broadcast religious program during Ramadan 1442 H.

The collaboration agreement between the two institutions was signed by the Dean of FSH UIN Jakarta Ahmad Tholabi Kharlie and the Head of the RRI News Center Widie Kurniawan in Jakarta, Monday (04/12/2021).

Ahmad Tholabi Kharlie said the collaboration of the Ramadan program between FSH and RRI is one of the implementation of the Three Pillars of Higher Education. In addition, the program is also intended to fill public spaces with Ramadan studies which enlighten and strengthen both Islamic and Indonesian values.

“We positively welcome RRI's commitment as a public broadcasting institution that plays an active role in promoting religious moderation,” said Tholabi.

In response, Widie Kurniawan hopes that this Ramadan program can make a positive contribution in increasing the religious insight and faith of Muslims

“RRI's commitment is in line with FSH's mission. We want to fill the public space during this Ramadan with Islamic studies that enlighten and encourage public love for Islam and the Republic of Indonesia,” he said.

Widie also said that this program would be filled by professors and FSH lecturers and it would be held routinely every day after Dzuhur prayer during Ramadan.

“The cooperation program between RRI and FSH will be broadcast regularly using radio and digital platforms through RRINet. The broadcast can be accessed either through RRI Pro 3 FM or RRINet via Digital TV service,” said Widie. (usa/ns)
