For the first time, FEB UIN Jakarta holds doctoral promotion exam

FEB, UIN News Online – Sharia Banking Doctoral Program of the Economics and Business Faculty UIN Jakarta marked its academic debut by holding the first  open defense doctoral promotion exam for two days, Tuesday-Wednesday (07/ 28-29 /2020). Based on the statement obtained by UIN News Online, the open defense doctoral promotion exam was held for three doctoral candidates, namely Endah Meiria, Aziz Budi Setiawan, and Faizul Mubarok.

Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta Amilin expressed his gratitude for the academic program achievement after it opened in the 2016/2017 academic year. “Alhamdulillah, FEB the UIN Jakarta began to graduate the Islamic banking doctors," he said.

On the first day, Endah began the Islamic Banking doctoral promotion exam. She successfully defended her dissertation research entitled “Islamic 4A Marketing Model in Advocating Customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia” in front of a testing and assessment team.

The open defense was opened by Dean of FEB Amilin and attended by a team of promoters and co-promoters, namely Rodoni and Euis Amelia. The open defense also attended by a testing and assessment team, namely Husein Umar, Indo Yama, and Muniaty Aisyah.

Furthermore, Aziz became the second doctoral student who. Promoted by Amilin and co-promoted by Mohammad Nur Rianto Al Arif, he successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Model Pengukuran Kinerja Sosial Ekonomi Pada Perbankan Syariah” in front of the chairwoman of the session Amany Lubis, and a testing team consisted of Suhendar Sulaeman, Ahmad Rodoni, and Euis Amalia.

Meanwhile, Faizul is scheduled to carry on his doctoral promotion exam on Wednesday (07/29/2020). Faizul will defend his dissertation research entitled “Dinamika Efisiensi dan Risiko Pembiayaan Perbankan Syariah Pada Sektor Riil”.

In defending his dissertation, Faizul will face members of the promotional session consisting of Zulkifli as Chair of the Session, Abdul Hamid as Promoter, Mohammad Nur Rianto Al Arif as Co-Promoter. Then, Nurul Huda, Euis Amalia and Indo Yama as a testing team. (usa/zm)
