FLAT UIN Jakarta Introduces German and French Culture

FITK Building, UIN News Online – Foreign Languages Association (FLAT) Student Activity Unit (UKM) of UIN Jakarta held a "European Culture Show: Sharing Happiness from Germany and France" in the Theater Room of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK), Thursday (07/07/2022).

According to the Chair of the Organizing Committee, Jundy Aljihad, this activity is a form of introducing German and French culture to students.

“We would like to specifically introduce our visitors to German and French culture,” he said.

Jundy explained that there were four performances displayed at the cultural event of the two countries in Europe, namely Storytelling, Cultural Stand-Up, folk music, and traditional dances. The cast and cast are carried out by members and administrators of FLAT UIN Jakarta.

One of the visitors, Afnenda Lailatus Sholehah, said that the German and French cultural performances were not only a means of entertainment, but also a means of learning about the cultures of the two countries.

“Through these performances, we get to know more about the culture of the two countries,” she said. (ns/es/usa)
