FKIK UIN Jakarta Booth Holds Free Health Checks

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The enthusiasm of UIN Jakarta’s academic community in keeping their healthy life is quite high. It was evidenced in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FKIK) UIN Jakarta booth on UIN Expo 2018 event, held in rectorate courtyard, Tuesday, (02/27/2018).

The free health check is a part of FKIK UIN Jakarta community services. According to Sub-division head of Academic Affairs FKIK UIN Jakarta Andi Lala Lc, FKIK assigned four physicians and six paramedical personnel. The work in teams to serve the “patient” who want their health checked.

“Free health checks are limited to the three types of the disease, which is uric acid, cholesterol, and blood sugar. Additionally, FKIK booth also serves consultation related to breastfeeding and nutrition,” he said.

Based on UIN News Online observation, the enthusiasm of the visitors in checking their health condition are high. Eko Saputro S Kom, staff from UIN Jakarta Academic Affairs for example, he visits the booth in order to check his medical condition. The 40 years old Eko is about to check his cholesterol and uric acid condition.

“Alhamdulillah, the results are satisfying. The doctor advised me to maintain my healthy lifestyle,” he said. (usa)
