FKIK UIN Jakarta Booth Holds Free Health Checks

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The enthusiasm of the UIN Jakarta’s civitas academica in keeping their healthy life is quite high. It was evidenced in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FITK) UIN Jakarta booth on UIN Expo 2017 event, held in rectorate courtyard, Wednesday, (3/8).

The free health check is a part of FKIK UIN Jakarta community services. According to FKIK staff Yuyun Yuliana, FKIK assigned four physician and six paramedical personnel. The work in teams to serve the “patient” who want their health checked.

“Free health checks are limited to the three types of the disease, which is uric acid, cholesterol, and blood sugar,” she said.

Yuyun added that FKIK UIN Jakarta also provide free medical consultation services. For these consultancy services, FKIK assigned three specialists. “The medical consultation is aimed to provide services to civitas academica of UIN Jakarta who want to know their medical condition,” she added.

Based on UIN News Online observation, the enthusiasm of the visitors in checking their health condition is quite high.

Rusdi Tumanggor, staff from the Faculty of Social and Political Science (FISIP) visit the booth in order to check his medical condition. The 50 years old man is about to check his cholesterol and uric acid condition.

“Alhamdulillah, the results are satisfying. The doctor advised me to maintain my healthy lifestyle. Especially on my old age,” he said. (usa)
