FK UIN Jakarta Holds Annual Work Meeting

Jakarta, UIN News Online - Faculty of Medicine (FK) UIN Jakarta held an annual Work Meeting while evaluating the medical profession education curriculum. The activity, which carries the theme of the Establishment of the Comic and Evaluation of the Physician Professional Education Curriculum, was held on Thursday (10/18/2018) at The Ballroom of Mercure Hotel, Lebak Bulus, Cilandak, South Jakarta.

Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Dede Rosyada MA, accompanied by the Dean of FK Dr. Hari Hendarto SpPD PhD, Director of Fatmawati Hospital Dr. M Syafak Hanung SpA MPH, and invited guests.

Rector in his remarks appreciated the activity and thanked the partners of UIN Jakarta's hospital directors who had partnered with FK UIN Jakarta to produce professional doctors.

"Hopefully this collaboration will developed into research collaboration for lecturers of FK UIN Jakarta. Thus, it is expected that the lecturers will also increase their knowledge," said Rector.

He also added that the medical alumni of UIN Jakarta were also alumni of Fatmawati Hospital. The reason for this, prospective doctors from FK UIN Jakarta do practicum or co-assistant (KOAs) in RS Fatmawati.

"Thus, the public will trust UIN Jakarta. Therefore, we hope that medical students who will do the co-assistant must be carefully trained in their knowledge, before being given permission to do KOAs at selected hospitals "said Dede.

In the same place, dean of the Faculty of Medicine also welcomed the activities of the meeting. He also asserted that the Commission for the FK UIN Jakarta is currently needed. This is to develop the quality of the doctors graduated from FK UIN Jakarta as well as to expand the network and cooperation partners.

"After this establishment, it is expected that there will be regular meetings every month. Thus, we will be able to analyze the problems faced in the field, as well as find a solution, evaluation, etc., "Hari said.

Present as the speaker at the event, Dr. Aulia Rizka SpPD (Chairperson of the Committee of RSCM-FKUI), Prof. Dr. Dr. Abdul Abdul Kadir PhD Sp. ENT-KL (K) MARS (Chairperson of the Indonesian Teaching Hospital Association / ARSPI), and Dr. Dr. Chamim SpOG K-Onk.

For information, that the meeting activities and the establishment of the Committee were conducted in a panel and in groups according to their respective fields and expertise. In the discussion, each group is required to find a solution to the problems that occur at this time. Where, problems were obtained from the internal members of medical students, as well as from stakeholders. (usa)
