FK students of UIN Jakarta participate in AIMPID and IDDW 2019
West Java, UIN News Online – Students of Faculty of Medicine (FK) UIN Jakarta, Aris Rivaldi Wicaksono and Putri Rahma Azizah, made a presentation at the 2nd Annual Scientific Meeting of Infectious Disease (AIMPID) session held by the West Java Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) in collaboration with Unite Coordination of Work on Tropical Disease Infection.
The event, which raising the theme on “Global Action Plan on Antimicrobial Resistance, Management of Vaccine-prevented Infectious Disease, Prevented and Management Congenital Infectious in Global Universal Coverage”, was held in the form of symposiums and workshops and presentation of research study posters and case reports. On the occasion, Aris Rivaldi Wicaksono, under the guidance of the Staff Section of the Fatmawati Central Hospital (RSUP), Debbie Latupeirissa and Lanny Christine Gultom, had the opportunity to present a poster of case reports with the title of Sindrom Rekonstitusi Imun pada Anak HIV dengan Imunodefisiensi Berat dan Gizi Buruk.
While at the same session, Putri Rahma Ajizah, under the guidance of Debbie Latupeirissa and Mochammading, presented a case report on Rheumatic Heart Disease in Adolescents.
Furthermore, at the Indonesia Digestive Week (IDDW) symposium which was held at Borobudur Hotel Jakarta, Doctor of Professional students, Megawatti Latenriolle also presented her poster entitled The Proportion of Esophagitis Patients Based on Endoscopic Examination at Haji Jakarta Hospital 2015-2019.
The poster was the result of a thesis research by Megawati which was guided by lecturers of Jakarta UIN FK Femmy Nurul Akbar, Fransisca A. Tjakradidjaja, Hari Hendarto and Sayid Ridho.
On the other hand, the Head of the Doctor of Professional Study Program, Femmy Nurul Akbar said that the participation of several students in the AIMPID and IDDW symposium was a joint facilitation between the Medical Professional Education Study Program FK UIN Jakarta and Fatmawati Hospital in order to increase research publications and increase student participation in scientific activities.
“We will continue to facilitate students to continue to play an active role in various activities that can add to their experience and knowledge,” said Femmy. (usa)
