FK Offers Free Health Checks on UIN Jakarta Expo

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The enthusiasm of UIN Jakarta’s academic community in keeping their healthy life is quite high. It was evidenced in the Faculty of Medicine (FK) UIN Jakarta booth on UIN Expo 2019 event, held in rectorate courtyard, Wednesday, (01/30/2019).

The free health check is a part of FK UIN Jakarta community services. According to Sub-division head of Academic Affairs FKUIN Jakarta Andi Lala, FK assigned four physicians and six paramedical personnel. The work in teams to serve the “patient” who want their health checked.

“Free health checks are limited to the three types of the disease, which is uric acid, cholesterol, and blood sugar. Additionally, FKIK booth also serves consultation related to breastfeeding and nutrition,” he said.

Additionally, Andi continued, FK also provided free health consultation services. For this consultation service, the FK assigns a specialist doctor.

“Health consultation is conducted to provide services to and UIN Jakarta academic community who want to know their health condition and what actions should be taken in accordance with the doctor's advice,” he added.

Based on UIN News Online observation, the enthusiasm of the visitors in checking their health condition are high. Eko Saputro S Kom, staff from UIN Jakarta Academic Affairs for example, he visits the booth in order to check his medical condition. The 41 years old Eko is about to check his cholesterol and uric acid condition.

“Alhamdulillah, the results are satisfying. The doctor advised me to maintain my healthy lifestyle,” he said. (usa)
