FITK UIN Jakarta Prepare 30 Students to Participate In Microsoft Certificate Educator Program
FITK, UIN News Online – The implementation of National Qualifications Framework Indonesia (KKNI)-based study program curriculum is expected to increase the students’ quality in accordance with labor market needs.
This was conveyed by Vice Dean of Student and Almuni Affairs FITK UIN Jakarta Dr Fauzan during student activities coordination meeting with Internal Campus Student Association (Omik), Friday, (10/6/2017) at FITK Meeting room, campus I of UIN Jakarta. Present in the event,
“What will be seen is not only the GPA, but the skill or achievement that the student, and that's what matters most,” said Fauzan in front Omik board members, Head of General Adminstration FITK UIN Jakarta Imam Thabrani SE, and FITK UIN Jakarta Sub-division head.
These achievement, he continue, will be included in Diploma Supplement Certificate (SKPI) which is an official statement issued by the University, containing information about academic achievement or qualification of graduates, as stipulated in Permendikbud. 81/2014.
“The more skills and achievements achieved, the faster they will get jobs," he said.
To meet the demands, FITK recommends its 30 students to be included in the Microsoft Certificate Educator Program (MCE) which will be held in mid-October. “For the initial phase, we plan to recommend Omik's board, either Sema, Dema, Postar, or HMJ, each represented by two people,” said Fauzan convincing Omik officials.
He also added that Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) is a credential that certifies an educator is literate in global technology and can provide students with an education that combines technology and learning in the classroom.
“Preparation for the test will be done for three days. For financing scheme, it will be discussed further,” he said. (usa)
