FITK UIN Jakarta is at the forefront of Inclusive Education

Jakarta, UIN News Online – The Faculty of Educational Science (FITK) UIN Jakarta is at the forefront of Inclusive Education. The Dean of FITK UIN Jakarta, Sururin , said that FITK received five stars for inclusive education based on the world ranking according to the 2019 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking agency.

“When we submitted QS ranking, the only thing we got was a five star for inclusive education,” said Sururin during the virtual Introduction to Academic and Student Culture (PBAK) FITK, Friday (11/9/2020).

She said that this achievement could be obtained because UIN Jakarta never differentiated certain groups in education, especially related to gender. “UIN does not differentiate between genders, or groups between lecturers and students, even now there are many female leaders and deans at UIN Jakarta,” she said.

According to Sururin, this integrity must always be maintained by the academic community, including the new students of FITK UIN Jakarta. “Differences will not lead UIN Jakarta graduates to become superior humans. The challenge of the future is how each other can synergize and collaborate. By working together, we can move together in creating various potentials and advantages,” she concluded. (usa/aga/mf)
