FITK UIN Jakarta holds video making workshop for PPG students

FITK, UIN News Online – In order to improve thwe competence of the Professional Teacher Education (PPG Daljab) students in 2021, the Faculty  of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training Sciences holds a Virtual Video Making Workshop for 421 PPG Students on Wednesday, (07/21/2021) by presenting the Physics Education lecturer at FITK UIN Jakarta Dzikri Rahmat Romadhon as a resource person.

In this activity, students will be provided with basic knowledge about the video making process. Present in the event, Dean of FITK UIN Jakarta Sururin, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Kadir, Deputy Dean for General Administration Abdul Muin, Deputy Dean for Student, Alumni and Cooperation Khalimi, Department Head of PPG UIN Jakarta Zaenul Slam and several invited guests.

Sururin in her speech said that even though it was in the atmosphere of Eid al-Adha, FITK still carried out this activity.

“This is an effort to improve the quality, both academic and non-academic,” she said.

Meanwhile, Dzikri in his presentation invited the participants to better understand the basic application techniques commonly used in the process of making videos.

“There are a number of applications commonly used in making videos, among them are PowerPoint, Zoom, and Camtasia,” said Dzikri

Furthermore, he also explain the pros and cons of these applications. “Regardless of the pros and cons of the three applications, we are required to understand the basic techniques in educational video making,” he said. (usa/mf/MusAm)
