FITK UIN Jakarta distribute qurbani meats in Bojongsari

Bojongsari, UIN News Online – Celebrating the Eid al-Adha 2019, UIN Jakarta through the Faculty of Tarbiya and Teaching Sciences (FITK) slaughtered two cows and one goat at the PPG building of FITK UIN Jakarta, Bojongsari Depok on Monday, (08/12/2019).

"This is the first qurban performed in this place since the building was handed over to UIN Jakarta,” said Dean of FITK UIN Jakarta Sururin during the sacrificial cattle handover ceremony from UIN Jakarta, represented by Sub-division head of f Public Relations UIN Jakarta Samsudin to FITK.

Also present in the event, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FITK M Zuhdi, Deputy Dean for Administration of FITK Abdul Muin, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs Alumni and FITK Cooperation Khalimi and other officials.

For information, there are 250 packets of qurbani meat that will be distributed to residents of Bojongsari and FITK employees. This year, UIN Jakarta slaughtered 25 sacrificial animals consisting of 15 cows and 10 goats, and their distribution was carried out in three locations, namely on campus 1 Ciputat, South Tangerang, on campus 3 PPG building,  Bojongsari, Depok, and on campus 5 Cikuya, Tangerang, Banten.

On campus 1, the number of animals slaughtered was 9 cows and 7 goats, campus 3 (2 cows, 1 goat), and campus 5 (4 cows, 2 goats). All animals are donations from individuals and UIN Jakarta’s business partner. (usa/lrf/mf).
