FITK Islamic Religion Education Master Program Will Accept New Students

Rectorate, UIN News Online – Islamic Religion Education Master Program of The Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers Training (FITK) UIN Jakarta will accept new students for 2017/2018 academic year for S1 graduates from accredited universities.

It was conveyed by the head of Master Program in Islamic Religion Education Dr Sapiuddin Shidiq to UIN News Online in his office, Wednesday, (2/8). “Online registration is taking place every day, until July 22, 2017 through http://spmb.uinjkt.ac.id,” he said.

According to Shidiq, students who enroll will be selected according to the mechanism which includes TOEFL and TOAFL test, Academic Potential Test and Thesis Proposal. The selection process will take place on 2-3 August 2017.

Students who have passed the selection, Shidiq continued, are required to re-register by submitting other necessary files and by paying tuition fee. The selection result will be announced on August 10, 2017, re-registration on August 11-30, 2017. The class will begin on September 6, 2017.

This program will last for four semesters or two years. The class itself will be held twice in a week from afternoon to evening.

“Due to limited classroom, the class will begin in the afternoon,” he said.

The objective of this program is to produce professional S2 graduates who excel in the development and dissemination of Islamic Religion Education scientific field, both national and international.

“The graduates are not only oriented to the academic matter, but also researchers, consultants religion and bureaucracy,” said Shidiq. (usa)
