Final Inspection: SBSN Team Examines the Laboratory Building for the Faculty of Health Sciences
Rectorate Building, UIN Online News - The Laboratory Building of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, financed by the Government Islamic Securities (SBSN), will soon be operational.
Before that, the SBSN Lab Building Development Team, headed by Abdul Cholis, Nursilowati, B.Ec., together with the building contractor, first have to inspect the room dimension. The process encompasses the examination of furnishings for the building of the FIKES Lab Building under the SBSN Program.
"The post-construction phase is crucial for ensuring the quality of laboratory building construction. We aim to guarantee that the construction of this laboratory building adheres to the established codes and specifications, ensuring its proper utilization by students and lecturers," he explained.
The SBSN team and contractors had done a comprehensive assessment of the room volume and placed furnishings. Their inspection covers the number of laboratory rooms, the quantity and quality of the installed furniture, the quality of the construction materials utilized, and the electrical and plumbing installation.
The completion report will be used as a reference to determine that the construction specifications and standards already met their target since the laboratory facility will be used immediately by lecturers and students.
According to UIN Online News, the construction of the Health Sciences Faculty Laboratory Building on Campus II costs IDR 57 billion, invested by UIN Jakarta itself. In addition, the funding is also sourced from SBSN in the amount of IDR 48.5 million, and the capital contribution from BLU UIN Jakarta is equivalent to IDR 8.5 billion.
As for this reason, Nursilowati, Commitment-Making Officer (PPK) of SBSN, audited the financial plan to verify that the construction of the laboratory building adhered to the approved budget.
"We aim to guarantee that the construction of this laboratory building aligns within the designated budget," she added.
The laboratory building, with its five tall floors and modern laboratory rooms, will soon be ready to serve the public health sciences. Its construction is anticipated to enhance the research tradition among students and faculty in the pertinent scientific disciplines.
