FIKES UIN Jakarta Achieves Global Milestone: Five Study Programs Earn Unconditional ASIIN International Accreditation Through 2030
Ciputat, UIN Online News — The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta has reached a significant milestone in strengthening its global academic reputation. The achievement follows the successful accreditation of five study programs by the Akkreditierungsagentur für Studiengänge der Ingenieurwissenschaften, der Informatik, der Naturwissenschaften und der Mathematik (ASIIN), which granted all five programs unconditional accreditation valid for five years through 2030.
According to official data released by FIKES on Wednesday (22/04/2026), the accredited programs are the Bachelor of Public Health (nationally accredited Excellent since 2023), Bachelor of Nursing (Excellent since 2024), Bachelor of Pharmacy (Excellent since 2025), Professional Nursing (Ners) Program (Excellent since 2025), and Professional Pharmacist Program (Excellent since 2024).
Responding to the achievement, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Tholabi, M.A., M.H., described it as an international recognition of the academic quality of FIKES UIN Jakarta and a significant step toward reinforcing the university's position as a provider of globally recognized health sciences education.
He explained that the unconditional status signifies that all five programs fully satisfied ASIIN's international quality standards without requiring any revisions, follow-up recommendations, or additional evaluations.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the accomplishment reflects the collective commitment of the university community to continuously maintain and enhance academic excellence.
"This is an outstanding achievement. Five study programs within FIKES have successfully earned full ASIIN international accreditation for five years through 2030—namely Public Health, Nursing, Pharmacy, the Professional Nursing Program, and the Professional Pharmacist Program," he stated.
Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. apt. Zilhadia, M.Si., added that obtaining unconditional accreditation serves as strong evidence that the faculty's educational system, curriculum, and graduate outcomes have met internationally recognized standards.
"Alhamdulillah, our five study programs have received ASIIN accreditation with unconditional status. This means that their quality has been recognized without any required improvements, providing a solid foundation for expanding our international academic partnerships," she said.
ASIIN is an independent international accreditation agency based in Germany that specializes in engineering, natural sciences, mathematics, computer science, and related disciplines. Recognition by ASIIN not only certifies compliance with international academic quality standards but also enhances graduates' opportunities for international academic mobility and global career development.
With this achievement, graduates of FIKES UIN Jakarta will enjoy stronger competitive advantages, including greater opportunities for international credit transfer, easier access to postgraduate studies at overseas universities, and improved competitiveness in the global workforce. The accreditation also reinforces the international recognition of the faculty's national Excellent (Unggul) accreditation status.
Looking ahead, Dean Zilhadia stated that FIKES UIN Jakarta will continue expanding its academic offerings through postgraduate education, including the Master of Pharmacy and Master of Public Health programs, as part of the faculty's commitment to delivering health sciences education that is excellent, adaptive, and globally competitive.
