FEB Will Organize Conference on Business and Islamic Finance
FEB, UIN News Online – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta will organize conference on business and Islamic finance in Jakarta, Wednesday-Thursday, (October 11-12/2017). In addition to inviting experts, FEB also invites lecturers and researchers of sharia economy to participate in the event.
This was conveyed by the Dean of FEB Dr Arief Mufraini Lc MA during the opening of FEB Lecturer meeting which is held at FEB theater, campus I of UIN Jakarta, Tuesday, (8/15). According to Arief, this event is held in order to accommodate the exchange of information and insights of Islamic economics among the lecturers and researchers on economic, business, and Islamic finance.
“The conference will discuss the idea and practice of economics, business, and Islamic finance from the perspective of science that has been developed in the global financial and banking industry,†said Arief
The conference itself, he explained, took the theme of Global Challenge in Islamic Finance, Economic, and Business Stability. The conference is planned to present some contemporary economic, business, and financial researchers such as Associate Professor Dr. Hanudin Amin and Associate Professor Muslim Amin.
“We also invite lecturers and researchers to participate in this activity,†he added.
Deputy Dean of General Administration FEB UIN Jakarta Dr Ade Sofyan Mulazid MA, added that the selected lecturers and researchers' papers will be published by local and international journals indexed by Scopus. Among them are International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management (Scopus Indexed), Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research (Scopus Indexed), International Journal of Monetary Economics and Finance (Scopus Indexed), dan International Journal of Economic Policy in Emerging Economies (Scopus Indexed).
If not selected in the Scopus indexed journal, Ade added, selected journals may be published in national accredited journals. Among them are Jurnal Signifikan, al-Iqtishad, Etikonomi, and Esensi. (usa)
