FEB UIN Jakarta will continue to improve the quality of its lecturers
FEB, UIN News Online – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta will continue to improve the quality of its teaching staff. This is done by sending dozens of its lecturers to pursue doctoral education at various world top universities through the 5000 doctoral program of the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and the LPDP program Ministry of Finance's scholarship supports.
This was conveyed by Deputy Dean of the General Administration of FEB UIN Jakarta, Ade Sofyan Mulazid, when talking with UIN NEWS Online at the Rectorate Building, Thursday (04/18/2019). "Alhamdulillah, around 15 young lecturers in the FEB UIN Jakarta managed to pursue their doctoral degree in various world top universities," he said.
The 15 lecturers continued their education at universities in the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia. Some of them such as Ali Rama who continue his studies at the Aberdeen University doctoral School of Business program and Yoghi Citra Pratama at the Australian National University.
The enthusiasm in improving the quality of teaching staff, he said, was inseparable from the desire of FEB UIN Jakarta to improve the quality of learning in this faculty. It is known, FEB is one of the faculties with study programs that attract many people.
In addition to having five undergraduate study programs namely Management, Accounting, Development Economics, Sharia Economics, and Sharia Banking, FEB also offers Islamic Banking study programs at the master and doctoral level.
Ade is optimistic that the number of lecturers with doctoral backgrounds in the next two to three years will continue to grow. “Even with the scientific background and educational institutions they are aiming for, FEB UIN Jakarta is ready to become the pioneer in sharia economics school from Ciputat,” said Ade.
