FEB UIN Jakarta Concludes 23rd Dies Natalis with Fun Walk and MSME Bazaar

Ciputat, UIN Online News – The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held a Fun Walk and MSME Bazaar on Thursday (June 26, 2025), marking the peak of the faculty's 23rd Dies Natalis celebrations. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ibnu Qizam, M.Si., and attended by the faculty's academic community.

The Fun Walk, joined by hundreds of FEB UIN Jakarta students and lecturers, aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness about the importance of exercise. The activity also served as an occasion for silaturahmi (strengthening bonds) and fostering closer relationships within the FEB academic community.

In addition to the Fun Walk, the event was enlivened by an MSME Bazaar featuring excellent products from micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs, primarily students from entrepreneurship classes. This bazaar provided an opportunity for MSMEs to promote their products and raise student awareness about the importance of entrepreneurial spirit and supporting local products.

The Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, in his opening remarks, stated that the 23rd Dies Natalis of FEB UIN Jakarta is a momentum to increase awareness about the importance of synergy within the academic community. "We hope this event can serve as a platform to promote FEB UIN Jakarta to the public and increase our academic community's awareness of the importance of supporting MSMEs," he said.

During the peak event of FEB UIN Jakarta's 23rd Dies Natalis, winners of various competitions were also announced. These included competitions in adzan (call to prayer), murottal/tilawah (Qur'an recitation), khutbah (sermon), green economy poster design, green campus video creation, Sharia make-up artistry, Mobile Legends e-sports, and Master of Ceremony (MC) skills, all participated in by students. It is hoped that this series of competitions will nurture students who are not only academically proficient but also capable in non-academic fields. (AC)
