FEB student wins national trading championship

FEB, UIN News Online – Two students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta, Budi Santoso and Muhammad Ruvio Tama, won the the national level stock trading competition. Both won third place in the Perbanas Capital Market Competition 2021.

The official release of FEB UIN Jakarta stated that the achievements of the two 2019 FEB UIN Jakarta students were announced by KSPM Perbanas Institute, Saturday (10/02/2021). The competition itself took place from 13-14 September 2014 and followed by 33 teams from various national universities.

The competition itself takes place online. In the competition, Budi and Ruvio traded shares virtually using the MNC Sekuritas virtual account application. Both of them are members of the 'Gain and Win' team representing UIN Jakarta.

Throughout the 10 days of the competition, they competed with teams from various other universities. “When it was announced, the Gain and Win team won 3rd place with total assets of 149 million. Which means it managed to get a net profit of 49% during the competition period,” said the release.

Representing the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation of FEB UIN Jakarta Mohammad Nur Rianto Al Arif congratulated the two students for the achievements. Appreciation is also given to the Sharia Investment Gallery LSO which has carried out optimal regeneration in the capital market field within the Faculty of Economics and Business. (usa/zm)
