FEB is expected to lead the university business development

Bogor, UIN News Online – Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis expects the economics and business faculty (FEB) to lead the university business development sector as well as fostering the students’ entrepreneurial spirit.

This was said by the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis during the FEB work meeting, Friday (02/14/2020) in Bogor. According to the Rector, the funding needs of UIN Jakarta were very high. Such conditions are proportional to the value of university spending. Such activities are considered to have economic potential that can be reused as a source of university funding.

“For this reason, we want the Faculty of Economics and Business to lead the university business development sector for UIN Jakarta,” she said.

The Rector continued, UIN Jakarta initiated a business unit tasked with managing the economic potential. In addition to being a source of funding, this is also expected to create a process of procurement of goods / services in one price to make it more efficient.

Furthermore, the Rector also hopes that FEB can encourage the development of entrepreneurial spirit of UIN Jakarta students. This is done by encouraging students to build start-up businesses in the e-commerce sector. (usa/zm)
