FEB focuses on Improving the human resources

Bogor, UIN News Online – The educators and education personnel development will be the main concern of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UIN Jakarta this year. This is needed so that FEB UIN Jakarta can become a leading sector in producing quality graduates.

This was said by the Dean of FEB UIN Jakarta Amilin when he opens the FEB Working Meeting in Bogor, Friday (02/14/2020). Also present in the meeting, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis.

Amilin explained, besides prioritizing the improvement of infrastructure, FEB was also committed to encourage the development of the educators and education staff. In addition to increasing the qualifications of education, the faculty will also encourage the educators to improve their functional qualifications.

The improvement of educational qualifications is done by encouraging lecturers to complete their education to the doctoral degree. While the qualification of functions is done by accommodating them to improve their academic positions.

“Our Baseline in 2020, lecturer to assistant professors, assistant professor to associate professor, and associate professor will be encouraged to become a professor,” said Amilin.

Such accommodation, he continued, could be done by encouraging research and publication. Others, optimizing the budget to improve the educators’ qualifications.

“To strengthen the supporting human resources, we will provide various soft skills improvement training,” he added.

As a faculty that is expected to become the leading sector in the development of UIN Jakarta, Amilin added, FEB is also committed to strengthen the collaboration network with other parties. In addition to industry, research institutions, FEB will also initiate partnerships with national state institutions and companies.

“Insha Allah, we will open up communication with SOEs on Tuesday, hopefully it can give us any opportunities for future cooperation,” he concluded.
