FDI UIN Jakarta Holds OLYMPIA 2018

FDI, UIN News Online – Student executive council of Dirasat Islamiyah Faculty (FDI) UIN Jakarta Holds OLYMPIA (Olympiad of Arts and Culture of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah), on Monday-Wednesday (11/5-7/2018), located in the campus I UIN Jakarta.

The event, which was attended by all student representatives competed several events, including Arabic debates, Arabic speeches, Arabic poetry, futsal, table tennis, Arabic Idol, Tumpeng decorating, and fashion shows.

The event which, carries the theme of “Merajut Ukhuwah Islamiyah dengan Seni, Bahasa dan Budaya” aims to strengthen the relationships between FDI UIN Jakarta academic community was opened by the Dean of FDI Dr Hamka Hasan on Monday (11/05/2018).

Hamka in his remarks advised the participants advised the participants to maintain cohesiveness and care among students. “Hopefully this event can be used as a medium of sillaturahim between students, lecturers and all the academic community of FDI UIN Jakarta,” he said.

For information, the entire OLYMPIA 2018 series was closed with a seminar that presented Dito Alif Pratama MA as a guest speaker. Dito is a santri who gets a scholarship from the CSS MORA and a Masters scholarship in the Netherlands.

On the occasion, Dito described the role of santri as well as tips for being able to continue their education abroad. It appears that the seminar participants were motivated and enthusiastic to continue their studies to a higher level. (usa)
