FAH students win 3 national competitions

FAH, UIN News Online – Students from the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Jakarta won the national level Khitabah, Taqdimul Qishah, and Futsal tournaments. This was said by Deputy Dean for Student Affairs of FAH UIN Jakarta Usep Abdul Matin to UIN News Online in his office, Monday (02/21/2022).

The competitions, which organized by the Regional Leadership Council II (DPW II) Ithihadul Thalabah Lughah Arabiyah bi-Indunisia (ITHLA) Indonesia was held at the Ciamis Education Office Hall, West Java, on 10-13 February 2022 and attended by students from various Islamic universities in Indonesia.

The Khitabah competition was won by Siti Aisyah, 6th semester student of the Arabic Language and Literature department (BSA). The second and third place winners were Abdul Mujib (Dr KH EZ Muttaqien Purwakarta Islamic High School) and Muhammad Tajudin (Islamic University Jakarta).

While Ahmad Raihan, 4th semester student from Tarjamah department comes as the runner up in the Taqdimul Qishah competition. The first and third winners were respectively won by Alfi Ahmad Hudori (Cipasung Tasikmalaya Islamic Institute) and Nurjamah (Al-Ma'arif Ciamis Islamic High School).

As for the Futsal Team, the team consisting of Achmad Burhanuddin Eka Atmadja, Daain Mudrik Madzudzu, Aziiz Humaimin, Taufiqurrahman, Ahmad Sahaluddin Rizqi, Haidar Abyan Nawawi comes as the third runner up. The first and second winners were respectively won by the UIN Bandung and the Riyadlul Ulum Islamic Cultural and Cultural College, Tasikmalaya.

Therefore, usep hopes that this achievement can motivate other students. “FAH students must excel in both academic and non-academic fields,” he said. (ns/usa)
