FAH Establishes Cooperation with Three Iranian Institutions
FAH, UIN NEWS Online - Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Jakarta signed a partnership with three institutions affiliated with Middle East countries, Iran. The three institutions are Center of Recovery Cultural Heritages, ECO Cultural Institute, and Islamic Cultural Center (ICC) Jakarta.
The signing ceremony was held on Wednesday (05/09), held at the Meeting Room of FAH Lt. 2. The text of the cooperation is signed by Prof. Dr. Sukron Kamil (Dean of FAH), Dr. Abdul Majid Hakimollahi (Director of ICC Jakarta), Dr. Mohammad Hussain Shafakha (Chairman of Executive Organization of Cultural Heritage Recreation Center), and Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Mazaheri ( President of ECO Cultural Institute).
Besides the dean, Vice Dean III FAH for Student Affairs and Cooperation Dr. Zubair MAg, and Vice Dean I Academic Affairs Dr. Muhammad Farkhan MPd are also attended and witnessed the signing.
For info, the ECO Cultural Institute (ECI), the Center of Recovery Cultural Heritage, and ICC Jakarta, are organizations concerned with the restoration of cultural heritage. In the signed manuscript, there are several attempts to be made by each party in academic and human resource development.
For ECO Cultural Institute and Center of Recovery Cultural Heritage the focus of its cooperation is the exchange of academic journals, exchanges of papers for publications in relevant journals, joint publications of books and journals in English, organizing academic conferences, joint research projects, exchange of experience in various fields of academics and research, holding joint workshops and seminars, as well as exchange of professors, lecturers, and researchers with UIN Jakarta.
Similarly, ICC Jakarta, the scope of its collaboration is not much different from the previous two institutions, centered on academic and research activities. However, ICC Jakarta prioritizes library development.
In his presentation, Sukron Kamil explained that this cooperation was initiated by the three institutions, as part of the follow-up of lecturers exchange in the form of short courses in 2017.
"This cooperation is our effort to bring FAH to get the credibility of good institutions," Sukron cried.
He added that this cooperation is very important, because with the connection between the FAH with the cultural institutions or Islamic study centers will make this Faculty increasingly rich in intellectual treasures.
"We will be easy to get references to the study of the Middle East as the center of Islamic studies that became a reference," said Sukron closing remarks.
In the same place, Abdul Majid Hakimollahi said if this cooperation is a commitment of their institutions in order to develop networking with the academic world.
"With this agreement, ICC Jakarta will donate some reference books for Islamic studies for FAH library collection," Abdul Majid explained. (usa)
