Faculty of Psychology will organize virtual discussion on leadership style in madrasas

Rectorate, UIN News Online – The Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta is scheduled to hold a virtual discussion on April 25th, 2021 themed on “Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Madrasah dan Kinerja Guru”. This discussion is open to the public and can be accessed directly through the Zoom application from 10.00-12.00 WIB.

Basef to the official release accessed by UIN News Online on Monday (04/19/2021), the discussion will feature a number of speakers, both with a background in psychologists and educational practitioners.

Two presenters with a psychologist background will appear at the opening, namely Jesyia M and Diana. Meanwhile, as discussants, there will be four speakers, namely the Professor of UIN Palembang Kasinyo Harto, Director of Teachers and Madrasah Education, Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs Muhammad Zain, Master’s degree lecturer in the Faculty of Psychology at UIN Jakarta Fadhilah Suralaga, and the Head of the Master’s Study Program, Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta Natris Indriyani.

“The discussion will also feature the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Zahrotun Nihayah as the keynote speaker,” said the release.

According to the press release, it is important to discuss the leadership style of madrasa principals and its teachers performance. This is to find out what the types of leadership of a madrasa principal are and the performance of madrasa teachers in carrying out their duties.

Through this discussion, it is hoped that we can obtained an illustration on how a madrasa principal is able to carry out his leadership. Likewise, teachers can play a more optimal role in carrying out their duties as a teacher.

“Hopefully the results of the discussion can be used as a reference, both for madrasahs and teachers in the future,” it said. (usa/ns)
