Faculty of Psychology sign MoU with Bojonegoro government
FPSI, UIN News Online – To expand the network of cooperation with local governments, UIN Jakarta signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Regional Government of Bojonegoro Regency, East Java on Thursday, (10/17/2019), held at Faculty of Psychology main meeting room, campus II of UIN Jakarta.
Present in the event, Vice Rector for Cooperation Andi Faisal Bakti, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Zahrotun Nihayah, and Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Bambang Suryadi, the Regent of Bojonegoro Regency Anna Muawanah, Head of Government Section Budi Sukisna, and Acting Head of the Employee Skills and Training Agency (BKPP) Aan Sabana.
Andi Faisal Bakti in his remarks said that UIN Jakarta is always expanding its network with various institutions both local and international.
“Hopefully, we can strengthen the relationship, particularly in carrying out the Tri Dharma of higher education, namely education, research, and community service,” said Andi.
Andi also welcomed the Bojonegoro Regency Government could send the best students to continue their higher education here in UIN Jakarta through a regional government scholarship program. “They can study in 12 faculties in various scientific disciplines,” he said.
Meanwhile, Anna Muawanah, the Regent of Bojonegoro, said that the Jakarta UIN was chosen as a partner institution because the UIN Jakarta had both national and international reputation. One concrete form of this collaboration is the implementation of competency assessments for employees within the Bojonegoro District Government, which will be carried out by the Center for Psychological Services (PLP) UIN Jakarta.
“At present we have 9,500 civil servants with varying competencies. To ensure this competency is appropriate for the field of work they are handling, a competency assessment is needed. Thus we will have a competency map that can be used for various purposes, especially for promotion” said Ana.
In response, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Zahrotun Nihayah said that PLP has cooperated with various government institutions both at central and regional levels. This collaboration with the Regional Government of Bojonegoro Regency is a form of public trust in the quality of assessment services conducted by PLP Faculty of Psychology, UIN Jakarta.
“We are grateful to be able to carry out a collaborative process with the Bojonegoro District Government, particularly in the implementation of employee competency assessments. Technically, the implementation of the competency assessment will be followed up by the Faculty of Psychology PLP team,” she said. (usa/bs)
