Faculty of Psychology – IIUM agree to cooperate

RSU, UIN News Online – Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA)with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) on Wednesday (12/11/2019), at RSU, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

Present in the event, Vice Rector for Cooperation, Andi Faisal Bakti, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology Zahrotun Nihayah, and Dean of Kulliyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) IIUM Abdul Wahab Abdul Rahman.

Andi Faisal Bakti in his remarks said that UIN Jakarta is always expanding its network with various institutions both local and international.

“Hopefully, we can strengthen the relationship, particularly in pursuing collaboration on academic research, related to mental health and Information technology,” said Andi.

Meanwhile, Abdul Wahab Abdul Rahman, said that the Jakarta UIN was chosen as a partner institution because the UIN Jakarta had both national and international reputation. “Moreover, both UIN Jakarta and IIUM are campuses that promote the integration of science and Islam,” he said.

Abdul wahab also hopes that with this MoA, good relations between the two institutions will continue to be maintained.

For information, both parties are intended to pursue the joint research and publication on mental health and information technology, provide mutual access to facilities for the purpose of fundamental, academic research related to mental health and information technology, and offer an employee exchange opportunity with the aim of sharing and furthering the scientific and technical know-how of both parties.
