Faculty of Psychology Held Peer Counselor and Public Speaking Training
FPSI Theater, UIN NEWS Online –Student Affairs and Alumni Cooperation, Faculty of Psychology UIN Jakarta held Peer Counselor and Public Speaking Training for psychology students sixth semester, on Saturday (05/12/2018), the event was held at the theater room Prof Dr Zakiyah Darajat Faculty of Psychology (FPsi), Campus II UIN Jakarta.
The training aimed at providing students with training to the KKL (Field Work Subject) is appreciated and opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Psychology, Prof. Dr. Abdul Mujib MAg.
The training is divided into two batches that lasts for three consecutive days each batch, and the peak of the whole event ended on Saturday.
One of the participants, Intan, told UIN News Online said, by attending this training, she admitted to get a lot of enlightenment and of course new science as skill for the future.
"Ahamdulillah, grateful for the big question that has been bottled up now has got a very satisfactory answer," said Intan.
Also comes as guest speaker in the event, Dr. Tubagus Wahyudi ST MSi MCHt CHI and his team.
Om Bagus, a nickname of the trainer who is also the founder of Kahfi BBC Motivator School, greatly appreciates the enthusiasm and ability of the students in capturing this training program quickly.
"Because Om appreciates your learning ability quickly, then Om will add one more program in doing this persuasion technique," said Bagus.
At the end of the activity, Om Bagus also gives a message to all the trainees to be wise in using this knowledge, obey God, obey the parents, and clear the intention to become a Psychologist.
In the same place, Vice Dean of Student Affairs, Dr Diana Muthia MSi, as well as closing the event hopes, so that students are able to resolve the conflicts themselves and also the psychological problems of society.
"Students are expected to know and be able to solve the problems that exist in the community such as trauma, domestic violence, underachieving students and others, of course before solving the problem, students are also able to solve problems that exist in it," he said.
For information, in the training, students are given the opportunity to practice live persuasive therapy techniques to participants who attend non-psychology who are invited on the last day of the training. This technique is more familiar with the term hypnotherapy. (usa)
