Facing Demographical Bonus, DEMA FITK Establish Tarbiyah Language Club

FITK, UIN News Online – As an effort to prepare for the 2045 demographic bonus, the Student Executive Board (DEMA) Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Jakarta held the “Opening Ceremony of Tarbiyah Language Club” on Saturday (10/08/2022) at the FTIK theater, campus I of UIN Jakarta.

It is known, the Tarbiyah Language Club (TLC) is the flagship program of DEMA FITK UIN Jakarta. TLC was created to develop students' potential in the field of language. In addition, TLC is expected to be an interesting, relaxed and not monotonous learning and language practice space by forming two language classes, namely English and Arabic.

“Tarbiyah Language Club was born from the aspirations and inspiration of students so that in the future UIN Jakarta students, especially FITK students, can compete with students from other campuses and international campuses. With the strengthening of Arabic and English, of course FITK students will become more confident and ready to take part in international events,” said the chair of DEMA FITK UIN Jakarta for the period of 2022 Abdullah Hanif.

“In the first batch of Tarbiyah Language Club, 65 participants were registered, with 42 participants attending the opening ceremony accompanied by 6 language class mentors,” he said. (fitk/musam/usa)
