EXPOSE 2025: Inspiring Talk Show Encourages Students to Pursue Excellence
Student Center Hall, UIN Online News – The EXPOSE 2025 event at UIN Jakarta featured an insightful and motivational talk show on Thursday (06/02/2025). The session welcomed two distinguished guests: Musfiah Saidah, B.S.S., M.Sc., a lecturer at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences and a well-known TikTok influencer, alongside Boby al-Mahbubi, a UIN Jakarta alumnus recognized for his work as a comedian and influencer.
The session provided valuable insights into the importance of higher education, personal development, and strategies for achieving success in both academic and professional settings.
Musfiah emphasized that higher education is more than just earning a degree—it’s an investment in personal growth and career development.
"University life offers more than just knowledge. It shapes our mindset, expands our networks, and helps us become more adaptable in different environments," she stated.
She also highlighted the importance of time management and self-discipline, urging students to create structured daily and monthly plans to stay on track with their goals.
Meanwhile, Mahbubi provided a fresh perspective on how UIN Jakarta fosters critical thinking and real-world skills.
"Student organizations and campus activities at UIN Jakarta prepare us to engage with society and understand real political and social dynamics," he explained.
He encouraged students to explore self-learning and creative outlets alongside their academic pursuits.
"Discover your passion, sharpen your skills, and stay consistent. The world is full of opportunities for those who take the initiative," Mahbubi advised.
Both speakers emphasized that success is subjective and unique to each individual.
"Everyone has their own definition of success. Focus on your strengths, keep learning, and don’t let setbacks discourage you," Musfiah encouraged.
The event concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where students eagerly sought advice from the speakers. The discussion left attendees feeling motivated and ready to embrace their university journey with confidence.
"Every challenge you face is a stepping stone to your future. Stay committed to your goals and adapt to new challenges," Mahbubi concluded, quoting Ali Ibn Abi Talib.
Through EXPOSE 2025, UIN Jakarta continues to provide valuable platforms for students to gain inspiration, build confidence, and prepare for the future—both academically and professionally.
