Enliven the 65th Anniversary, UIN Jakarta Holds Blood Donation Event

FK, UIN News Online – To enliven the 65th anniversary, UIN Jakarta holds a blood donation event on Thursday (02/06/2022) held at the Faculty of Medicine (FK), campus II of UIN Jakarta. This activity is intended for the academic community and residents around the campus.

The Blood Donation event was held in collaboration with FK UIN Jakarta with the Faculty of Health Sciences (Fikes), the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) South Tangerang, Syarif Hidayatullah Hospital, and Haji Hospital UIN Jakarta.

In addition to the Blood Donation event, free health checks and simple laboratory tests were also held for the general public. Public enthusiasm for health checks is quite high. This can be seen from the large number of registrants who have filled the FK Building since it opened at 08.00 WIB.

Present in the event, Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis, Vice Rectors and Faculty Deans.

Chair of organizing committee Ali Munhanif said that blood donation is a humanitarian activity that aims to assist PMI in providing the blood banks needed by patients in hospitals.

“Therefore, we are targeting as many blood bags as possible in this blood donation activity,” said Ali.

Based on field monitoring, a number of faculty and institutional leaders were also seen donating their blood. Among others, the Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities Saiful Umam, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology Nashrul Hakim, Dean of the Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah Syairozi Dimyati, Dean of FK Hari Hendarto, and Head of the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) Muhammad Zuhdi.
