Empowering Future Teachers With Artificial Intelligence, Four UIN Jakarta Education Students Complete Intensive AI Masters Training at NPU China

XI'AN, UIN Online News – Accelerating the integration of modern technology into teacher education, four student delegates from the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Educational Sciences (FITK) at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta successfully completed the prestigious Global Summer Schools – AI Masters International Summer Camp at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU) in Xi'an, China, held from July 4 to July 18, 2026.

The selected international cohort represents a cross-disciplinary team of future educators: Ahmad Taqi Mishbah Yazdi (English Education), Alviona Marlyanda Safitri (Early Childhood Islamic Education), Nurul Faadhilati Idris (English Education), and Sava Nuri Yasmasyita (Chemistry Education).

Prior to their international deployment, the student delegation was formally sent off at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at FITK UIN Jakarta, Salamah Agung, Ph.D. Vice Dean Agung highlighted that mastering emerging technologies like artificial intelligence is vital for modern educators who will shape the next generation of Indonesian students.

"Serve as high-integrity ambassadors for FITK UIN Jakarta by demonstrating academic rigor, strong character, and an unyielding passion for learning," Vice Dean Salamah Agung urged the students. "May this intensive technological immersion equip you with invaluable competencies to transform the future landscape of education in Indonesia."

Throughout the two-week intensive summer school in Xi'an, the UIN Jakarta delegates participated in advanced academic lectures delivered by international computer science scholars, hands-on technical workshops, direct research observations in specialized AI laboratories, and intercultural academic exchanges with delegates from around the globe.

By sending future early childhood, chemistry, and language educators directly into top-tier international AI research facilities, FITK UIN Jakarta demonstrates an aggressive commitment to modernizing teacher training. The initiative ensures that UIN Jakarta graduates enter the global workforce as highly adaptive, tech-fluent pedagogical leaders capable of leveraging artificial intelligence to advance modern education.
