Eco-friendly Entertainment: Parents of the 135th Graduates Given a Chance to Take a Campus Tour with Bilis

Harun Nasution, UIN Digital News - To entertain the attendees of the open senate meeting for the 135th graduation ceremony on Saturday (22/22025), the parents of the graduates were asked to hop on to the Electric Bus (Bilis) as a tour across UIN Jakarta's campus. 

The campus tour is intended to familiarize graduates' parents with the facilities on the first campus and offer them a memorable experience in navigating the campus with 3 electric buses provided by UIN Jakarta.

"This is the first time I have experienced an electric vehicle on Rifky's campus," Sumi, mother of a graduate from the Islamic Broadcasting Communication Study Program at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, expressed her delight and joy in using one of the UIN Jakarta's eco-friendly vehicle.

She noted that during the campus tour, she was amazed by the number of educational facilities in UIN Jakarta's first campus: Faculty of Dirasat Islamiyah, Faculty of Sharia and Law, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Faculty of Ushuluddin, Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology, and the UIN Jakarta Libraries.

"This transportation represents an innovation that significantly mitigates carbon emission. It is environmentally friendly guaranteed while alleviating the need for parents to traverse the extensive campus area on foot," Ainun, mother of a graduate called Amba, explained after she took a campus tour with the electric bus.

After receiving compliments and suggestions from parents towards the electric bus program, UIN Jakarta will continue to enhance its services and offer sufficient amenities facilitating academic and non-academic activities.
