During the Pandemic Year, UIN Jakarta realized various performance targets

Syahida Inn, UIN News Online – In the midst of Covid-19 pandemic, UIN Jakarta has succeeded in realizing positive achievements throughout the 2020. These achievements are expected to be maintained in 2021.

“Alhamdulillah, UIN Jakarta managed to provide excellent service throughout 2020, although there are still some programs that have not reached the target,” said the Rector of UIN Jakarta Amany Lubis in her speech during the UIN Jakarta’s leadership meeting, Wednesday (03/10/2021) held at Syahida Inn, campus II of UIN Jakarta.

The Chancellor said, there were several important achievements that were successfully realized in 2020. One of them is the achievement of the accreditation target of study programs. Other achievements are graduates with minimum GPA qualifications of 3.5 in a 4-5 years of study with a percentage of 35%.

“I would like to thank the study program administrators who have worked hard to realize the targeted graduation percentage,” said Rector.

Another achievement was the number of research productivity and scientific publications that reached 1,015 scientific research and publications, while the target itself was only 300 scientific research and publications. In addition, the target of IPR (HaKI) certified intellectual works, from the target of 20, UIN Jakarta has succeeded in obtaining 60 intellectual works with HaKI certificates.

Furthermore, the achievement of the general study program proposals which targeting 30 proposals, but as many as 60 proposals can be realized. Another proud achievement that has also been realized is the level of competitiveness of public universities which aims to obtain a competitiveness index at the level of 23: 1. However, the realization is higher, at the levelof 30: 1.

Throughout 2020, UIN Jakarta also aims to realize non-tax (PNBP) Revenue Against of 55%. However, during that year, UIN Jakarta was able to make it happen at 119%.

In the same period, UIN Jakarta also targeted the realization of PNBP BLU of 255 billion IDR and could be realized as much as 296,180 billion IDR. In addition, PNBP BLU from asset optimization and BLU cooperation that can be realized is as much as 58,664 billion IDR from the target of 5 billion IDR.

“However, from BLU financial modernization, we only achieved 100% of the120% target. This needs to be optimized,” said Rector Amany.

Rector Amany also admitted that not all targets could be realized smoothly throughout 2020, among them are the number of accredited scientific journals which is targeted to reach 30 journals, but only 26 accredited scientific journals have been achieved.

“Another thing is student services. From the target score of student satisfaction of 3.2, UIN Jakarta can only realize as much as 3.18. Pandemic conditions have a significant effect on this satisfaction score. Hopefully it can be improved in 2021,” she said.

Another challenge that needs to be improved immediately, continued the Chancellor, is the number of lecturers with doctoral qualifications. From a total of 1,103 lecturers at UIN Jakarta, only 318 lecturers have doctoral qualifications.

“Hopefully we can increase the number of of lecturers with doctoral qualifications in this year,” she hoped.

Furthermore, she also expressed her appreciation for the hard work of all academic community in realizing a number of achievements. She also reminded the academic community of UIN Jakarta to maintain professionalism at work.

“Insha Allah, we can do it together. We already have potential and capital, let us continue to improve our achievements in 2021,” she said. (usa/zm)
