Director of SPs UIN Jakarta Officially Closed the New Student Orientation Period

SPs, UIN News Online – Director of Graduate School (SPs) UIN Jakarta Prof Dr Masykuri Abdillah officially closed the new student orientation period for 2017/2018 academic year in SPs UIN Jakarta Auditorium, Wednesday, (02/21/2018). Also present in the event, SPs UIN Jakarta Master’s Department Head Dr JM Muslimin and SPs UIN Jakarta Doctoral Department Head Prof Dr Didin Saepuddin.

New student orientatios was held on 19-21 February 2018, and followed by 56 participants consisting of 17 doctoral program (S3) and 39 master’s program (S2).

Masykuri in his speech expressed his gratitude to the participant who have followed the activities that have become one routine agenda of SPs UIN Jakarta.

“The orientation is aimed to introduce the culture in SPs UIN Jakarta so that students can understand the system and learning mechanism. Therefore, SPs UIN Jakarta has different academic and learning standards with other graduate schools,” said Masykuri.

Furthermore, Masykuri advised that new students can take advantage of opportunities while studying in SPs UIN Jakarta. Students must be able to develop their scientific skills through various scientific research, integrity and good academic tradition.

“Also avoid other forms of academic violations such as plagiarism,” he said. (usa)
