Digital Branding by Creatifah: FAH UIN Jakarta Takes Further Step in Building Institutional Image
South Tangerang, UIN Online News — The Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH) UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta continues to innovate in strengthening its institutional image in the digital transformation era. It begins with the new born LO (Autonomous Institution) called Creatifah, a carrier towards digital branding. It was announced in Diskusi Creatifah: Kolaborasi Digital dan Informasi untuk Penguatan Branding FAH event which was held at Cirendeu Culinary Park, South Tangerang.
It is one of the regular agendas that highlights the importance of synergy between information management, digital creativity, and the active role of the academic community in building a positive institutional image. The Creatifah discussion serves as a meeting space for faculty staff, students, and media managers to share relevant and impactful digital communication ideas and strategies.
This event was also attended by the faculty leadership, including the Dean of FAH, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak, S.Ag., S.S., M.Hum., CIQnR; Vise Dean III for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin, S.Ag., M.A. (Leiden), M.A. (Duke), Ph.D.; and the Head of FAH Administration, Iwan Kurniawan, S.Pd., M.Si.
In his remarks, Dr. Ade Abdul Hak emphasized the importance of strengthening the faculty's digital identity via integrated and representative information media.
"Publication activities are not just about uploading content to the internet, but an effort to convey the identity and role of our faculty publicly," he stated.
Meanwhile, Prof. Usep Abdul Matin emphasized that student involvement as creative agents is crucial in building the campus's informative ecosystem. The importance of showcasing the achievements of FAH alumni who have successfully entered ministries, the professional world, and international institutions has become a part of the institution's strength narrative.
"We may not have professional grade equipment, but with creativity and perseverance, we can make the best out of it in the field of information. Our successful alumni in government, industrial, and international institutions deserve this acknowledgment," he said.
The discussion was dynamic, with participants sharing various creative ideas, ranging from optimizing social media and creating documentation content to collaborative strategies across study programs and partner institutions.
In this activity, Creatifah reaffirms its role as the tip of the spear in the publication strategy and the formation of a unique, visionary, and globally-oriented digital image for FAH.
For your information, Creatifah is a new autonomous institution that operates in the fields of creative media and journalism. The idea for forming Creatifah originated from a conversation between Sukasih and Hilya Maylaffayza, who had previously participated in media management at Ma'had UIN Jakarta.
After the Dean of FAH, approved it, Creatifah is then officially formed at 16 July, 2025 and began recruiting many members thru social media. Currently, Creatifah has several departments: Graphic Design, Public Relations, Copywriting, Website, and Videography.
