Department of Sociology FISIP UIN Jakarta Chosen as APSSI Officials for the 2018-2022 Period

FISIP, UIN News Online -  Department of Sociology FISIP UIN Jakarta participated in the National Workshop organized by the Association of Indonesian Sociology Study Programs (APPSI). The event took place from 13-15 November 2018 at Universitas Terbuka, South Tangerang with the attendance of the Sociology study program administrators throughout Indonesia. Dr. Cucu Nurhayati, M.Si as the Department Head of Sociology program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UIN Jakarta, attended the event.

This National Workshop carries the theme of Advancing Sociology of Opportunities and Challenges in the Era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. Not only this workshop also integrates the 2018 Open Society Conference. The theme of the international conference is the Social and Political Challenges in Industrial Revolution 4.0,

On the first day of the National Workshop an E-Learning workshop was held with Yudi Efendi MA from the Open University, Dr. Najib Azka, from Gadjah Mada University and Dr. Nadia Yovani University of Indonesiaas the speakers. Then on the second day, Wednesday, November 14 2018, the inauguration of the APPSI board and the National Work Meeting formulated the organization's work program in the future.

Department of Sociology FISIP UIN Jakarta was chosen as the secretary of 2 APSSI administrators for the 2018-2022 period. "A pride of department of sociology FISIP UIN Jakarta, we became the management of the Indonesian Sociology Study Program Association (APPSI) until the next 2022," said Cucu. The last day of the National Workshop is still carrying out activities such as the first day.

This event is expected to be a place for sharing with one another to advance the sociology study program in the future so that they can produce the best graduates. (usa)
