Department of Journalistic Will Hold Competition and Journalistic Photo Workshop
FIDK Building, UIN News Online – Journalistic Department of the Da'wah Faculty and Communication Sciences (Fidkom) UIN Jakarta will hold a Journalistic Photo Competition for national students and students. In addition to the competition, Journalistic Study Program will also hold a Journalistic Photo Workshop.
This was stated by the Head of Journalistic Study Program Kholis Ridlo to the UIN News Online at the Fidkom building, Tuesday (09/24/2018). Kholis explained, Journalistic Photo Competition aims to encourage photography enthusiasts to work and capture various moments of important and interesting events in human life. More than that. The competition also aims to foster the interests and talents of Indonesian students and students in the field of photography.
"Journalistic photos are not just a matter of the art of beauty, but also contain recordings of various interesting events that involve humans and the natural surroundings so that they are worthy of public knowledge," he said.
According to Kholis, this year's Journalistic Photo Competition themed "The Face of Indonesia". The requirements to participate in the competition are; participants are students throughout Indonesia and are individual in nature as evidenced by student or student cards. Photos must be original or original works, and must be sent in JPEG format and a maximum length of 300 dpi as many as five photos and to jurnalistik@uinjkt.ac.id.
"The deadline for sending photos on October 5, 2018 and the announcement of the winners will be held on October 9, 2018," he explained.
Kholis also added, the winners of the photo contest will be included in a photojournalism exhibition at the Intermediate Hall of campus 1 of UIN Jakarta on 8-12 October 2018. For the winners, the committee will provide prizes in the form of money and certificates. The first winner gets Rp. 1.5 million, the second winner is Rp. 1 million, and the third winner Rp. 750 thousand. While for the first to third hope winners will get money each of Rp. 250,000.
The workshop on photojournalism will be held on 9 October 2018 in the Madya Hall. The workshop featured a single speaker Rasdian A Vadin, a photography lecturer at the Jakarta Fidkom UIN Journalistic Study Program. The workshops will discuss the world of photography in various aspects. (usa)
