Dema UIN Jakarta-MPR RI Socializes the Four Pillars of Nationality

Auditorium, UIN NEWS Online- Student Executive Council (Dema) UIN Jakarta in collaboration with the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) held a nationality seminar and Socialization on the Four Pillars of Nationality. The agenda is included in the series of National Gathering of Students Executive Board of the Islamic Religious College (BEM PTKI) in Indonesia at the Auditorium Harun Nasution on Wednesday (5/3).

The socialization was attended by MPR Chairman Zulkifli Hasan as the keynote speaker. On the occasion, he said that he was happy to be invited to such events which related to the problems discussion of statehood and nationality.

"I prefer to come to this event because it is consider as a form of love for the country," he said

Zulkifli informed his experiences when he visited several regions and met with head of the region, he found out that there was rarely national seminar that discussed statehood and nationality like this.

"Every time I visit to an area, I asked the Regent and Mayor, whether they had the people educated about Pancasila and so on. They answered that there were no such things. It was because they main focus was on projects that may have advantages for them, "he said

National Hospitality of BEM PTKI throughout Indonesia which was initiated by Dema UIN Jakarta was held from Tuesday to Thursday (2-4 / 5/2017). Previously, Dema UIN Jakarta also invited MNC Group CEO Hary Tanoesoedibjo as a keynote speaker on Indonesia's economic challenges. (usa)
