DEMA UIN Jakarta holds mass vaccination program

SC Building, UIN News Online –  In order to achieve herd immunity, student council (DEMA) of UIN Jakarta in collaboration with the Indonesian Police and Faculty of Medicine (FK) UIN Jakarta holds mass vaccination program for a thousand of students and the general public at Student Center Building, campus I of UIN Jakarta on Tuesday (08/10/2021). Present in the event, Vice Rector for Student Affairs Arief Subhan, South Tangerang Police Chief AKBP Iman Imanuddin, East Ciputat Police Chief Commissioner Jun Nurhaida Tampubolon, and Head of Student Affairs Division M Ikhwan. Chairwoman of DEMA UIN Jakarta Pebri Nurhayati to UIN News Online said that this event targeted 1,000 people consisting of students and the general public. “Dema UIN Jakarta also involved approximately 100 medical personnel, both from the Indonesian Police and FK UIN Jakarta,” she said. Pebri also said that this mass vaccination is expected to achieve herd immunity, especially among students. “In addition to supporting government programs to achieve herd immunity, this activity is one of the efforts of Dema UIN Jakarta. We hope that with this vaccination, students can study directly in class in the near future,” she added. For information, UIN Jakarta has held five mass vaccinations programs, both for the first and second stages. Even in the near future, UIN Jakarta in collaboration with the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) will also hold a similar vaccination program. (usa).
