DEMA FST Conducts S3lot Training for New Institution Organizers

Theater Room, UIN NEWS Online- Student Executive Council (DEMA) Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) conducted S3LOT training (Sciencetech Skill Secretary Leadership Organization Training). The event themed Self Implementation through Critical, Visionary, and Integrity development, held at FST Theater Room, Thursday (13/04).

The training aims to re-establish the interest of students in organizing organization, especially in FST which is currently had a leadership crisis. The event was attended by at least 100 participants consisting of FST students and 15 Student Activity Unit delegates.

Activities initiated by DEMA FST, implemented as a routine agenda every two years which was started since 2015. This was stated by the Chairman of DEMA FST Abdul Aziz to UIN NEWS Online at the end of the event.

"This event is held every two years. In addition, this is held as a rummage around for cadre at the faculty level, due to the students less interest to join organization. With such a lack of interest from students, as a result, it becomes a problem that cause leadership crisis among us, "he said.

Aziz Added, the event is filled with organizational and leadership materials. It was hoped that the event will be legalized and agreed by whole students’ activity unit and DEMA to be set out to find new cadres.

"Thus, it is expected that students' talents and interests will grow and their potential skill will increase. It is because in order to pass undergraduate program not only in terms of achievements to be counted, but also from the side of expertise as an additional credit "said Abdul Aziz. (usa-im)
