Delegation of Igdir University Visits UIN Jakarta, Enhancing Academic and Research Collaboration between Indonesia and Turkey

AUK Bureau Meeting Room, UIN Online News - UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta received visit from delegation of Igdir University in the Meeting Room of the Bureau of General Administration and Personnel (AUK) on Wednesday (13/2/2025).

In collaboration with UIN Jakarta to enhance academic and research purposes, representatives of the Igdir University was headed by the Rector, Prof. Mehmet Hakki Alma, with the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Literature, Prof. Ibrahim Dermitas, and the Supervisor of the Nur Semesta Foundation, Hasbi Sen.

This visit was directly attended by Vice Rector for Cooperation, Din Wahid, Ph.D., M.A.; Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Prof. Ali Munhanif, Ph.D., M.A.; The Vice Rector for Cooperation, Din Wahid, Ph.D., M.A.

"We endorse this collaborative initiative and aspire to establish a fruitful partnership, particularly in research and academic advancement," he said.

During the conference, the Rector of Igdir University, Prof. Mehmet Hakki Alma, evaluated the many prospects for collaboration between the two universities across several disciplines, particularly in research, technology, health, and education.

In order to impress these guests from Turki, Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) presented its masterpieces, including: Science Techno Park which was established in cooperation with the South Tangerang City Government, Integrated Laboratory Center (ILC) dedicated to foster technical innovation among students, and Islamic Discussion that facilitates digital-based Islamic studies.

Several officials from UIN Jakarta attending this event were: Chairperson of the Research and Community Service Institute (LP2M), Prof. Amelia Fauzia, Ph.D.; Head of the International Cooperation Service Center (PLKI), Prof. Maila Dinia Husni Rahiem, Ph.D; Dean of the Faculty of Adab and Humanities (FAH), Ade Abdul Hak, Ph.D., M.H., B.R.E, B.Lit.; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training (FITK) for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Salamah Agung, M.A., Ph.D.; Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Alumni, Khodijah Hulliyah, Ph.D., M.Sc.; and Head of the Mathematics Study Program, Taufik Edy Susanto, Ph.D., M.S.T.

In conclusion, both institutions want to develop a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to fortify the legal foundation for the forthcoming collaboration. This partnership aims for UIN Jakarta and Igdir University to enhance their contributions to advancement of scientific research and broaden their academic influence internationally.
