Dean of FITK Inaugurates the Head and Secretary of the PAI Doctoral Program

FITK, UIN News Online – Following the opening of the Islamic Education Study Program (PAI) Doctoral Program, the Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FITK) UIN Jakarta Sururin inaugurated Abdul Mu'ti and Sapiudin as Chair and Secretary of the Doctoral Program of the Islamic Studies Study Program for the period 2022-2023 in FITK Building, Monday (07/18/2022).

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs Kadir, Deputy Dean for General Administration Abdul Muin, sub-section coordinators, and a number of professors.

Sururin in her remarks congratulated Abdul Mu'ti and Sapiudin as the newly inaugurated officials. He asked that the Head and Study Program Secretary could carry out their duties as well as possible with full of responsibility.

She hopes that the PAI Doctoral Program in the future will become a locomotive for scientific development at FITK UIN Jakarta. Moreover, in its vision and mission, it is formulated that the PAI Doctoral Program is internationally oriented.

“The opening of the PAI Doctoral Program is a historic momentum for scientific development at FITK UIN Jakarta. Therefore, we mark this gratitude with full dedication,” said Sururin.

The PAI Doctoral Program was opened based on the Decree of the Minister of Religion Number 204 of 2022. The objectives of the opening of the program, among others, are to produce doctors who are able to find new methodologies in the field of Islamic Studies and produce scientific papers published in international journals, become educational consultants, and become leaders in institutions education.
