Darul Istiqomah Maros Girls' School Visits UIN Jakarta to Gather Academic Insights
Diorama Room, UIN Online News — Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University Jakarta hosted an academic visit from Darul Istiqomah Maros Girl's School, South Sulawesi, to the Diorama Room on Saturday (17/09/2025).
This tour was arranged to enhance partnerships and offer students academic insights and direct experience of the campus environment, where the students were escorted on a trip to familiarize themselves with UIN Jakarta facilities: lecture rooms, libraries, student activity spots, and additional academic support resources.
Dr. Hj. Sri Ilham Lubis, Lc., M.Pd., the Head of the Bureau of Academic Administration, Student Affairs, and Cooperation, conveyed cordial greetings to the visiting delegation and imparted a special message to the students.
"This visit represents an academic alliance anticipated to expand students' perspectives on higher education, especially UIN Jakarta as a prominent center for the advancement of Islamic-based knowledge in Indonesia," she stated.
Then, Zulfikar, S.Pd., M.Pd., the principal of the school, conveyed profound appreciation for the cordial reception from UIN Jakarta by conducting this tour as a memorable experience for his pupils.
"We express our profound gratitude for the cordial reception from UIN Jakarta. This visit offers a significant opportunity for our students to gain insight into higher education, while simultaneously cultivating their motivation to pursue further studies at UIN Jakarta," he explained.
Taufan Maulana Firdaus, S.Pd., from the Information and Public Relations Media Center, then shared details about UIN Jakarta with the students, explaining the different ways they can apply as new students, such as SNBP, SNBT, PTKIN, UM-PTKIN, SPMB Mandiri, He also mentioned diverse educational support facilities, student activities via Student Activity Units (UKM) and Autonomous Units (LO), as well as chances for participation in the Student Exchange program.
"You are an Islamic boarding school graduate, and UIN Jakarta has the best curriculum to guide you even further. With these facilities we provide, you must have been preparing yourself for the selection, haven't you?" he expected.
Following their involvement in the campus tour activities, the students acquired new insights into academic life at UIN Jakarta and commenced the exploration of their prospective subjects of study.
"I can't wait to enter the Islamic Broadcasting Communication program," one of the pupils shared.
